A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the proposed Inner Moray Firth Local Development Plan with representatives of senior Highland Council officials will be held at the Muthu Newton Hotel next Tuesday evening, May 17 at 7pm.

Officials attending are Mr Malcolm Macleod, Executive Chief Officer for, Infrastructure, and Development Planning and Ms Kate Lackie, Executive Chief Officer for Nairn, Performance & Governance.

This is an opportunity for the community to question these Highland Council senior officials on what developments, changes, infrastructure improvements and delivery timescales are being proposed for Nairn and how they would benefit the town and the local economy.

The closing date for comments on the plan is June 17.
