Highland Council festive bin collection times

COLLECTIONS of green bin and recycling containers, including food and garden waste are set to continue more or less as normal across the Highlands over the festive period.

The exception to these collections will be those which would have been due on December 25-26 and January 1-2.

Bins that are due to be collected on Wednesday 25 December will be collected on Saturday 21 December.

Those due to be collected on Wednesday 1 January will be collected on Saturday 28 December.

Uplifts due on Thursday 2 January will now be collected on Saturday 4 January.

Boxing day refuse and recycling collections remain the same this year.

Highland Council has issued a reminder that recycling centres will be open throughout the Christmas period except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and January 1 and 2.
