Highland Council announces over a month of road closures in Inverness

Motorists are being warned to expect more than a month of overnight road closures in two industrial and commercial areas of Inverness.

A number of roads within the city will be temporarily closed between 8pm and 6am from Monday, January 8 until Saturday, February 24.

Highland Council says the closures are necessary for utility inspection and maintenance.

They include:

Harbour Road between junction B865 Millburn Road - Academy Street - Chapel Street and the junction with Seafield Road.

Seafield Road between the junction with Harbnour Road and the junction with the spur road leading to numbers 8 to 52 Seafierld Road.

Henderson Road between the junction with its spur road and the junction with the B&Q Superstore access road.

Lotland Street between the junction with Cromwell Road and Longman Drive.
