It has only been on display a few days but this brightly decorated Highland coo has been damaged already.

As these pictures show the paintwork of the art installation in Falcon Square in Inverness has been chipped and the pieces can be seen lying on the ground.

It is part of Great Heilan Coo Art Trail organised by Highland Hospice with a total of 22 pieces displayed across the Highlands.

Hospice fundraiser Jenna Hayden said, “The coo was delivered successfully to Falcon Square by Lift & Shift who have been incredible in looking after our coos.

"We are not sure how this paintwork became chipped following this, but we are on the case to restore it.

"It is being filled today, and the area will then be painted over by this coo’s artist Jaden Anderson. It will be back to its full glorious self by Saturday.”
