ESSENTIAL Scottish Water repairs will spark the closure of an Inverness road this weekend.

A section of Harbour Road will be shut from 8am to 11am this Sunday while Scottish Water carried out repairs.

Confirming the temporary closure, Highland Council said: "Access will be maintained for pedestrians and vehicles employed to carry out the works, including those employed to carry out associated traffic management.

"Alternative routes will be available for all other vehicles."
