IT'S perhaps not the biggest drama Eden Court has staged but it seems not everyone loves a freebie after all.

The Inverness arts venue's boss James Mackenzie-Blackman has taken to social media to say he has received calls and emails from concerned residents after grass was cut.

"So, this is awkward," he said. "We told our landscapers we didn’t need the grass cut while we were closed but they came this morning and gave us a freebie."

Staff at the venue were keen to allow the grass to grow in a bid to create a spring meadow for wildlife after being inspired by the RSPB.
