THE Inverness-based Highland Voices Gospel Choir is aiming to wow audiences with a toe-tapping, hand clapping concert in support of the Moray Firth Cash for Kids charity appeal.

Members of the choir are busy rehearsing as they prepare to hold a fundraising concert at the city’s Ironworks music venue on Thursday, December 16.

While they are keeping their repertoire under wraps until the performance, it is fair to say the evening will have a Christmas theme and will include some popular numbers to get everyone on their feet, with a few extra surprises thrown in.

The choir’s musical director Tony Henry said: “We have almost completed our fourth year in existence, and Highland Voices prides itself on entertaining and bringing pleasure to audiences across the north.

“Getting behind worthy causes like Cash for Kids is something we are proud and honoured to do.

“We are really looking forward to performing at the Ironworks and hope as many people as possible come along.”

Tickets are selling well but there are still spaces so anyone keen to come along should visit www.ironworksvenue.com/event/highland-voices
