Glass attack at Inverness hotel

An Inverness man has admitted glassing another man during an incident at a city hotel.

Daniel McEleny (27) carried out the attack on February 12 at the Chieftain Hotel, in Millburn Road, Inverness Sheriff Court was told.

Court papers state that the assault was to his victim’s severe injury and permanent disfigurement.

Sentence was deferred on McEleny, of Ardbreck Place, until January 12 for the preparation of background reports.
