Girlguiding awards presented to members in Inverness-shire in recognition for their efforts

Members of the Girlguiding movement in Inverness-shire have been thanked and recognised for their efforts.
Several awards were presented at a dinner held at the Craigmonie Hotel in Inverness.
It was attended by 52 Guiders along with Suzanne Docherty, the county commissioner for Inverness-shire, and Sam Behan, assistant county commissioner.
Those receiving awards included Sarah MacDougall, of 4th Inverness (Methodist Brownies and Guides).
She was awarded a County Good Service award for helping young members to plan events for all sections.
The first of these will be a Rainbow Christmas fun day organised by four Guides aged from 12-14.
Brownie leader Rhona Brindle was awarded her 30 years’ service badge.
Although she moved to Inverness many years ago, she still travels to Beauly to run the 1st Beauly Brownies.
Natalie Sullivan, from 1st Grantown-on-Spey Guides, was awarded a Growing Guiding award from Girlguiding Scotland for helping to grow the Guiding movement in her area.
Awards have also been presented to other members in Inverness-shire but were unable to make it to the dinner.
