UPDATE: Jimmy Badgers opens for biz and fizz

The Highland capital has a new nightspot - Jimmy Badgers.

It was opened on Thursday night by city publican Don Lawson who runs the famous Johnny Foxes watering hole.

He said: "The launch last night went really well…it was full to the brims at one point and seems to have been welcomed positively by the patrons who attended…. ,

"We did learn a few thing and we will now tweak our offering/service to suit.

"Jimmy Badgers is a stylish place for spirited people to meet. It’s all about celebrating life with excellent food and creative drinks."
