Generous volunteers with the Scottish Highlands & Islands and Moray Chinese Association praised at special day in Inverness

Kind-hearted volunteers who give hours of their time every week to help a Highland group collect and distribute food within the community have been celebrated for their generous efforts.

The volunteers all give their time to help the Scottish Highlands & Islands and Moray Chinese Association (SHIMCA) in its work with supermarkets and Fair Share to collect and distribute food that would otherwise go to waste.

And a special volunteer day last Saturday saw them come together in Inverness for a celebration.
