Gang try to break in to Inverness flat

Hundreds of pounds worth of damage was caused when a gang tried to break in to a flat in Inverness last night.

A group of at least five people made threats to someone inside the flat in Huntly Street at around 11pm.

A police spokesman said: "The occupants of the flat have been left shaken by the incident.

"We are continuing with our inquiries and I ask anyone who witnessed the incident to please contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 3772 of September 7, 2020."
