The Stratherrick and Foyers Community Trust have been organising the event, taking place at the Corriegarth Estate, which has a range of events.

The summer gala will be opened by a performance from the Inverness Royal British Legion Pipe Band and a Highland dancing display.

The line-up continues with competitions including cake making, throwing wellies, a dog show and parent and child relay.

There will be a barbecue on site along with a licensed bar and a number of trade stands.

Entry is free and the gathering starts at noon.

A spokesman for the community trust said: “We look forward to welcoming everyone on the day, whether locally or visiting from further afield.”
