A pair of weekend fundraisers will help ensure children are smiling this weekend, with plenty of fun to be had.

As the build up to this year’s Strictly Inverness event in aid of Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre continues, two of the contestants are staging their own fun days to help the cause.

Team Friday member Andrew Kuzma is hosting a family fun day at North Kessock Hall on Saturday from 2-4pm with entertainment set to include live music from Wee James, a fire engine, bouncy castle, tombola, barbecue and face painting.

Overlapping with that is the Kids Fun Day being organised by Jade Robertson at Dalneigh Scout Hall from noon to 3pm the same day.

There you can grab a treat at the cake sale, with bouncy castle, face painting and a raffle also on hand.
