INVERNESS has lit up in support of the victims of Friday's terrorist attacks in France.

The colours of the French national flag, the Tricolore, have been projected onto several landmarks.

Blue, white and red were clearly visible on Ness Bridge, Inverness Castle and St. Andrew's Cathedral this evening.

The touching message of solidarity comes after Friday's barbaric attacks, which left 129 people dead and nearly 100 critically wounded.
