Free events to boost digital wellbeing are set to take place in the Highlands.

The events are aimed to help people develop a more positive relationship with their phones and learn how to take control of their personal data. The sessions are set to take place in Inverness and Thurso between March 25 - 27.

Facilitators will provide ways to cut down on the negative effects of spending so much time on the phone, and will guide participants through how to stay safe from cyber criminals.

These workshops are organised by Digital Skills Education and Scottish Union Learning. They are funded by Scottish Government's Cyber Resilience Unit. The session is delivered by Craig Steele and Daniel Devine from Digital Skills Education.

The events will take place at:

  • Pentland Hotel, Thurso, March 25, 6.30-9pm
  • Traill House, Olrig Street, Thurso, March 26, 9.30 am-12pm
  • Merkinch Community Centre, Inverness, March 27, 10.30am-1.30pm
