Four people treated at scene of fire in the Highlands which damaged farm buildings

Four people were treated by ambulance crews at the scene of a blaze near Nairn.

The fire at Little Kildrummie Farm in Howford happened yesterday afternoon.

Two ambulance crews were sent to the scene but no one was taken to hospital.

It is understood one of the people was treated for the effects of smoke inhalation

The blaze badly damaged farm buildings.

The alarm was raised just after noon.

One fire appliance from Nairn and one from Forres plus a water carrier from Inverness were used to bring the fire under contol.

A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was reported to be out by 4.14pm.
