FOUND: 12-year-old girl missing from Inverness is traced safe and well

A 12-year-old girl missing in Inverness has been found safe and well.

Earlier on Sunday, police appealed for information over Alicia Stewart who had gone missing in the Inverness area.

Shortly before 9pm it was reported that she had been found. Police thanked all those who had engaged with the appeal.

They added that Missing People operates a free confidential helpline seven days a week from 9am to 11pm for anyone who is thinking of going missing, is currently missing, or has friends or family who are missing.
