The former Inverness College UHI campus site on Longman Road, Inverness, has been sold after being on the market since the beginning of 2021.

According to reports the 4.5 acre site has been purchased by a company owned by local businessman David Cameron.

The site is zoned by Highland Council for a mixed-use development, which could include office, leisure, retail, and service uses.

A spokeswoman for UHI Inverness confirmed the sale. She said: “We can confirm we have sold the cleared plot on Longman Road that was the site of Inverness College.

“The sale of the final piece of legacy estate draws a chapter of our history to a close.”
