Food parcels available in Inverness Salvation Army hall

The Salvation Army in Tomnahurich Street, Inverness is opening on Tuesday, December 29 to give away emergency food parcels.

While the centre is closed for the festive break it has support available between 11am and noon for anyone who needs it.

In a message on its social media page, it said: "We realise that some of our community will need emergency food help.

"If you are in urgent need or know someone who is, come for an emergency food parcel at 11am-noon on Tuesday December 29."
