Organised by Visit Inverness Loch Ness (VILN) and Inverness BID, there a number of retailers involved in the two-week long event.

Chief executive of Visit Inverness Loch Ness Don Johnston said: “We are thrilled to announce our collaboration for an exciting event which emphasises our commitment to showcasing local produce in our wonderful destination.

"The rich tapestry of our region goes beyond initial perceptions, and our businesses take pride in offering something different and in many cases truly exceptional. The passion and dedication to food and drink will be on full display during our inaugural Food and Drink Fortnight, where we aim to celebrate the diverse flavours and hidden gems that make our community in so many ways unique.”

Margaret Laws, Inverness City Centre Business Improvement District’s administration and marketing manager added: “We are delighted to be working with VILN and look forward to launching this new event in early 2024. We would encourage hospitality businesses in our area to get in touch and involved to help us celebrate and showcase the variety of food and drink we have to offer.”
