A charity dinner at Inverness College UHI provided a major funding boost for Marie Curie.

The A Feast and A Fling event raised more than £22,000 for the cancer charity.

The event was supported by Woodwinters Wines Inverness and sponsored by city firm Caley Timber.

Vonnie Stevenson, Marie Curie’s community fundraiser, said: “The evening started with a welcome Glenrinnes gin cocktail and was followed by a fabulous three-course meal provided by three outstanding chefs.

“The starter was provided by Scott Davies, from Three Chimney’s Isle of Skye, the main course by Mike Crook of Good Highland Food and the dessert by John Wilson from Glenmorangie House Hotel. The guests then enjoyed a dram from Tomatin Distillery before dancing into the night with Highland legends Torridon.

“It was a super evening and we just can’t thanks everyone involved enough for making it all come together.”

Marie Curie provides nursing care and support to terminally ill patients choosing to remain at home.
