A giant pothole in Inverness has been repaired by Highland Council.

The Inverness Courier and Highland News highlighted the large crater in Oldtown Road, Hilton, last month.

The road was closed and Inverness Ness-side councillor Ron MacWilliam said he had asked for repairs to be prioritised, to minimise the inconvenience for residents.

Repairs have included resurfacing a larger area surrounding where the pothole had been.
