HEALTH club Anytime Fitness Inverness opened its doors for a charity community day recently.

As well as the chance to get active for free at the popular health club that opened last November in Harbour Road, visitors could browse a range of stalls from local Inverness businesses.

Various fundraising activities were organised for visitors throughout the day, with all money raised going to Cash for Kids and local children's group Little Fishes.

Donald Mackay who with wife Luciana owns Anytime Fitness Inverness, said that more than £500 was raised.

Mr Mackay said: "Club membership is going really well. We get a lot of referrals from people who have joined us and love the set up. We are getting a lot of people coming who have never been to a gym before.

"We are a local business, a family run franchise, and the support we receive from Anytime Fitness is second to none."
