TOUR company Cruise Loch Ness has opened its new booking office in Fort Augustus following a six-figure investment.

It comes during what they anticipate will be the firm’s busiest ever summer.

VisitScotland regional leadership director for the Highlands and Outer Hebrides Chris Taylor, cut the ribbon to open the new facility and had a tour of the firm’s vessels. He said: “Cruise Loch Ness is a brilliant demonstration of the positive economic impact that a five-star tourist attraction can have on a small community.”

Co-owner Ronald Mackenzie said: “Our best assets are our team, who we view as family, and the spectacular backdrop we are lucky to call our back garden.”
