Firefighters from Inverness and Nairn tackle blaze at farm in Nairn

Firefighters are battling a blaze at a farm in Nairn.

Two appliances from Nairn and a water carrier from Inverness have been sent to the scene at Little Kildrummie Farm.

They were alerted at 12.02pm today.

It is understood paramedics are also at the scene.

A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 12.02pm to a fire at an outbuilding in an area of Nairn known as Howford.

"Two appliances from Nairn and a water carrier from Inverness remain on the scene."
