Filming has started on the third series of the popular TV series All Creatures Great and Small.

Nairn actor Nicholas Ralph shared the news on Twitter this week.

He shared a tweet by co-star Samuel West and he said: "Buzzed to be back with everyone – here we go."

In the original tweet Mr West shared a photo of a clapperboard and he said: "Mist and rain from dawn till tea and off we go on series three.

"The British name it that with reason. Some people call a series, ‘season’."
