A LOCAL telecommunications company is hoping to take the next step on its journey after being named as a finalist for a prestigious award. Fibre 1 has come a long way since its formation in 2017, and the company's appearance at the highly regarded Comms National Awards (CNA) in London on October the 13th 2022 is set to provide further evidence of that.

The business' relatively short time in operation only serves to make its consistent ability to reach UK award telecoms finals more impressive.

The CNA nomination comes on the back of Fibre 1 being recently being Highly Commended at the Channel Champions Awards at Regents Park during 2022, and winning UK Reseller of the Year at the Comms Business awards in 2021. "We are delighted to be a finalist at such a prestigious award ceremony", said Lynn Stewart, Operations Director.

"It is a massive achievement to be recognised nationally by a judging panel who are well known Industry leaders.

“Fibre 1 was up against some tough competition across the UK telecoms industry and were delighted to take the award back to

Scotland on behalf of the team at Fibre 1.”
