Feast of photos at Flow Photofest in Inverness

The biennial international photography festival Flow Photofest is coming to venues across the north this month.

The 2021 exhibitions are themed around Legacy and will be on view at High Life Highland (HLH) venues including Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, Thurso Art Gallery, and Skye and Lochalsh Archive Centre.

The exhibitions open tomorrow in sites in Inverness,

Elgin, Moray, Thurso, Portree, Stromness, Stornoway and on Lewis.

Flow Photofest aims to present new and recent work by Scottish and overseas photographers.

The Inverness Museum and Art Gallery shows running until October 16, feature Thomas Joshua Cooper, Flannery O’Kafka and Frances Scott.

Cooper of Glasgow School of Art and who is considered one of the most influential landscape photographers in the world, will show a new body of 25 hand-printed photographs in collaboration with Catherine Money.

At Thurso Art Gallery, until September 25, are Sean Patrick Campbell with Swollen Utopia and Jo Bentdal with Common Sensibility, while at Skye and Lochalsh Archive Centre, until September 30, is David Williams.
