SCOTRAIL are warning train commuters of delays happening on an Inverness line following a fault with the signalling system.

The issue between Gleneagles and Perth is likely to affect train services between Edinburgh and the Highland capital, with delays of up to 25 minutes.

This is due to services having to run through the area at a slower speed than normal.

A ScotRail spokesperson said that disruption is expected to last until around 12pm today.

The fault will affect also services between Glasgow Queen Street and Perth.

More information and updates are available on ScotRail's website.
