PUTTING your health and wellness first is one of the best things that you can do in life. Ensuring that you have habits that are nurturing and life-giving, means that you can give the best of yourself in both your personal and professional life.

Making the right choices, however, can often be challenging and sometimes a reboot is required to promote sustainable, positive daily habits.

RETREATS

The team at Macdonald Aviemore Resort recognise the importance of wellbeing, and as such, their focus in 2023 will be to cater for such retreats.

Set in the backdrop of the stunning Cairngorms National Park, the resort is perfectly primed for relaxation and rejuvenation.

With a world-class events team – the invitation to your business and team to plan your next retreat on the resort awaits. From preparation for the full event, to providing just the space – a blank canvas on which to be creative – they can take care of everything.

Jess Atkinson, director of sales at the resort, is excited about how they can help you to create an extra special retreat: “We are having a big retreat in March, where there will be inspirational speakers, workouts, workshops and seminars with celebrity fitness professionals, as well as Olympic champion, Amy Williams.

“We have worked alongside the event organiser to ensure that they have everything they need to guarantee the day is a success.

“We also want to partner with others who are looking to host a retreat or wellness festival. We have three four-star hotels on site, lodges and a conference suite, so we can cater to the imaginations of our clients, to make a retreat that works for them on every level.”

The resort also has an excellent team of chefs who can create a bespoke menu for your event, and ensure that you receive the best quality, wholesome food on offer.

Jess said: “We have such a talented team of chefs, who will be able cater to all elements of health, wellbeing and dietary requirements.

“We also have private dining facilities, alongside an array of restaurants – so the offering will suit a range of tastes and palettes.”

By partnering with other providers in the local area, the resort can organise activities such as paddleboarding, yoga, climbing, cycling, and walking to name just a few. And if you want to just relax indoors, it also has several treatment rooms for a bit of pampering – a cinema and swimming pool facilities with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Looking to equip yourself for the great outdoors? The resort boasts department store Spey Valley Shopping, offering a variety of luxury shopping for the best homeware, clothes, gifts and food and drink.

Jess continued: “Your wellness comes first, above all. It touches every single person, no matter what walk of life you’re from, and it sets you up for the rest of your life.

“I think during the pandemic people rediscovered the importance of this.

“This is why we want to provide this offering and ensure that people can use our facilities to create a retreat that is in the heart of peaceful and tranquil surroundings.”

So, if you are a yoga or wellness collective, fitness provider, or simply have the passion to organise an event that goes back to basics, then all you have to do is get in touch with Jess. Her team can organise everything, from speakers and workshops to outdoor activities and accommodation. Or if you want to get your creative juices flowing and do it yourself, then you can even rent out the whole space and make it truly your own!

TEAM BUILDING

Another area in which the resort is keen to partner with others this year, is team-building activities.

“With people working more from home, there are some colleagues who have never even met each other before”, said Jess.

“We love to host team-building events so that others can meet and get to know one another more.”

The resort has a partnership with a leading team-building organisation, that can come in and provide the very best of activities for you and your participants!

Jess added: “Bringing people together is a great opportunity to get everyone motivated and create a deeper sense of rapport.

“We have hosted up to 650 people for an event like this before, so we are equipped to provide you with everything you need!”

Having just welcomed in a new year, now seems the perfect time to plan an event that holistically meets both the needs of your business, and your team. What are you waiting for…
