A police officer and an ambulance worker were assaulted by a 21-year-old woman who was then arrested again more than a year later for another two assaults.

Paige Peden, of Friar's Street, Inverness appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and admitted the four offences. Her sentence was deferred by Sheriff David Harvie until March 21 for a background report.

The facts of the incidents will be narrated then.

Peden pleaded guilty to attacking the ambulance medic in Culcabock Road, Inverness on March 19, 2022 and on the same day biting a police constable in Leys Drive, Inverness.

She also admitted punching a man on the head in Gilbert Street, Inverness on May 29 last year and spitting at a woman in Anderson Street on the same date.
