Energy advice and ideas for cheaper and greener living plus a children’s clothes swap will be among the attractions at a free eco festival in Inverness tomorrow.

EcoHighland 2022 is being organised by various churches and also involves community groups and organisations.

It will be held at St Columba’s Church field, next to the Tesco store in Dores Road between 1pm and 4pm.

Paul Haringman, Inverness Presbytery mission development worker, said it will include energy advice, bug hotels, face painting, children’s clothes, stone craft, seed planting, fruit growing, community building plus ideas for eco-friendly living, composting, reusing and recycling.

“There is also a big kids’ clothes swap,” he said. “You can drop off what is still good but you no longer want and pick up something else.”
