Drop in availability extended for Highland folk over the age of 30 at the Inverness booster Covid clinic today December 17 and tomorrow Saturday 18 - for first, second or booster jags, to halt the rise in Omicron cases

NHS Highland has said it is 'boosting' the hours that a Covid clinic will be available today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday December 18.

The clinic will be open from 9.30am until 3pm both days for first and second doses, as well as a booster jag.

A spokeswoman for NHS Highland said: "We've been able to extend drop-in availability at the Inverness Vaccine Centre this week

'Drop-in is available for the following - those over 30 requiring a Covid-19 Booster and anyone requiring a 1st / 2nd dose

"Inverness Vaccination Centre, Business Park, 1 Highlander Way, Inverness, IV2 7GB

"17 - 18 December 9:30 - 15:00.

She added: "Please be advised that due to the nature of drop-in clinics you may have to wait

"Please be respectful to those around you."
