RENEWED calls have been made for donors to help fund a suicide prevention charity’s plans for a safe haven in Inverness.

Mikeysline has now raised more than a third of the £120,000 it needs to set up its Hive Project in Academy Street by November.

Founder Ron Williamson is delighted with the support that has been shown so far but has urged businesses and other potential benefactors to step forward.

"Every day that this is delayed is potentially another life lost," he said.
