Do you have a flair for photography and a passion for the Black Isle?

Culbokie Community Trust has launched its 2022 photography competition and is looking for entrants from all over the Highlands.

During the pandemic many of us took to the great outdoors, and lots of us have developed new interests, such as photography.

“You don’t have to be a highly skilled photographer to enter by any means", said Angie Morris of the Trust. "We are looking for beautifully captured images, that represent everything we love about the Black Isle. And don’t worry if you don’t have time to get out and about with your camera before the deadline of June 30 as we are accepting photographs that fit the theme even if they were taken in the last three years."

This year’s theme, My Beautiful Black Isle, offers great scope for creative interpretation. It could be the Black Isle’s landscape, coastline, wildlife, its community or history that inspires you.

The competition has three categories; Best photograph using a camera; Best photograph using a mobile phone and Best photograph by a young person aged 13 and under (using any device).

To find out how to enter, just visit the Trust’s website at www.culbokiect.org
