Train passengers hit by Inverness to Aberdeen cancellation

ScotRail's early morning service from Inverness to Aberdeen was cancelled today.

A faulty train meant the 05:52 service, which normally arrives in the north-east city at 08:05, did not run.

There was also disruption on the early (04:56) service from Inverness to Edinburgh after a broken down train led to ScotRail running only three carriages instead of four.

All other services to and from Inve3rness appear to be running smoothly
