A disqualified driver jumped in his vehicle to go for a drive and collided with another car, and shunted it into another.

At Inverness Sheriff Court, 20-year-old window cleaner Aiden Lang, now living and working in Glasgow but formerly of Newton Park, Kirkhill, admitted driving while banned on Sir Walter Scott Drive, Inverness on September 4, 2023.

He also pleaded guilty to having no insurance.

Sheriff Sara Matheson banned him from driving for 18 months and ordered him to carry out 66 hours of unpaid community work.
