Discount chain The Original Factory Shop will take over former M&Co store in Inverness

A national discount chain selling goods from homeware to clothing is to open a new store in Inverness next month.

The Original Factory Shop confirmed a new branch will open in the former M&Co store, in Academy Street, on September 23.

It is set to create 10 new jobs.

The firm's regional business development manager Lisa Clark was excited by the move.

The company is also opening new premises in Nairn High Street, also at the former M&Co outlet and creating 10 jobs. An opening date is still to be annouced.
