A group of enterprising Culloden Academy kids have raised £678 for Highland Hospice through a raffle.

The senior fourth, fifth and sixth year pupils persuaded some local businesses to donate prizes and then worked hard to sell tickets to classmates, teachers friends and family.

Katie Gibb, fundraiser with the hospice, said: “We are so grateful to the pupils of Culloden Academy for this incredible support.

“We have passed on a massive thank you to all those who helped to organise the raffle, supported by their lovely teacher Miss Galleitch.

“Thanks also to everyone who bought a ticket – we hope the lucky winners enjoy their prizes.”
