Teenagers are renowned for thinking only of themselves, but one group of youngsters from Culloden baked up a treat for their local old folk’s home.

Proud mum Elaine Glendinning, whose daughter and friends attend Culloden Academy, said she was delighted with the results.

Ms Glendinning said: “The girls decided to get together on a Sunday afternoon to bake some treats for the people living in Cradlehall Nursing Home. I am very proud of them.

“When most kids would be thinking of themselves, these girls have decided to do something good for the community and to bring some cheer to the residents.”
