Culloden Academy is set to re-open tomorrow morning following burst pipes.

Culloden Academy will re-open to all pupils on Tuesday morning after the school was forced to close later this morning following a loss of heating.

Staff and pupils arrived at Culloden Academy to burst pipes.

Engineers were called out to evaluate the situation and initially, the school tried to remain open, however they announced its closure at break (11.20am) after the canteen was unable to open.

The heating is now working, the flooded area in the kitchen has been isolated and the canteen have confirmed that they will be able to offer hot and cold food tomorrow- albeit a smaller selection than usual.

The Christmas lunches that were initially planned for this week will now take place next week instead.

The secondary school have thanked everyone for their patience and support.
