ART and flower lovers can indulge both passions in Cromarty this week.

The Black Isle village is holding its annual Art and Flower Festival, with a white theme to represent peace and unity.

Floral displays in the East Church will be complemented by a diverse range of paintings from the local art group.

The event is part of the Great Get Together commemoration for murdered MP Jo Cox whose maiden speech in the House of Commons spoke of people having “more in common than that which separates us”.

The exhibition follows last weekend’s open gardens event in Cromarty, which raised money for local charities.

The exhibition runs until Sunday.
