Cream of the crop wins top awards at Inverness College University of the Highlands and Islands prizegiving ceremony

A TRIO of top students were among dozens honoured by Inverness College University of the Highlands and Islands at its annual prizegiving ceremony.

Sixty-three students were awarded prizes at the event.

The prizegiving culminated in the crowning of this year’s students of the year, with Sharon Scobbie from Dingwall taking the award for higher education, Vittoria McNamara from Ardgay securing the further education honour and Inverness’s Alvin Hunte named apprentice of the year.
