UPDATE: Arrest after crash closes Ross roads

A young man was arrested following a crash in Easter Ross that closed two roads.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.45am on Tuesday, 18 April, 2023, officers received a report of a one vehicle crash on Shore Road, Tain.

"A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences. Enquiries are ongoing.

“Shore Road and Academy Street were closed while an unstable lamppost was made safe. The roads reopened at around 9am.”
