A residential area in Inverness has been named as one of the top 10 places to live in Scotland.

Cradlehall was named in the 2024 list by Garrington Property Finders.

It came in at number 10 out of 161 areas evaluated by the firm.

An average family home cost £208,000 in Cradlehall.

Garrington Property Finders' data analysts identified more than 160 cities, towns, and villages across Scotland that all score highly in at least one of four selection criteria – natural beauty, wellbeing, employment and connectivity plus value for money.

Cradlehall scored 49 for natural environment; 20 for wellbeing; 58 for employment and connectivity; and 32 for price quality and value.
