The Tooth and Claw bar and venue in Inverness is currently closed, after a staff member was 'pinged' by track and trace.

In a social media message to customers they announced the closure, saying they hope to reopen as "soon as possible".

The statement from the Team at Tooth and Claw read: "Right folks, so one of our team has been 'pinged' and has had to go into self-isolation.

"We're a small team, pretty much in close contact most of the time, we're all in the same boat.

"We are all getting PCR tested and waiting on results coming back!

"Until then we will be closed but we are hoping to be back open as soon as possible.

"This is being exacerbated by the fact that at the time of organising tests, the stations in Inverness were unavailable but we are trying to get tested sooner.

"It's likely some of our team may still need to self-isolate.

"So we have to postpone the reopening of the upstairs this weekend.

"Absolutely gutted is an understatement but your and our health and safety must come first!"

They added: "Folks, stay safe, drink and socialise responsibly!"
