An Inverness man sold stolen X-Box and Playstation accessories to a city shop.

But Inverness Sheriff Court heard that police recovered the games, controllers and consoles a month later, on August 25, 2020.

CCTV footage from the shop was then reviewed and it led to the arrest of Billy Hunter (31), of Bruce Gardens, Inverness.

He pleaded guilty to a charge of reset and had sentence deferred until June 30 for a report.
