Inverness MP Drew Hendry; Highland Council director of development and infrastructure Stuart Black; Eden Court chief executive Colin Marr; Inverness College UHI depute principal Roddy Henry; and city businessman Charlie Barbour will form a panel for the event, each having five minutes to present their own personal vision.

More speakersAdditions may be added prior to the event at Eden Court on Friday, May 26.

An invited audience – expected to be more than 100 people – will have a chance to contribute and add to the discussion by offering their own views.

We will, of course, be reporting back from the event and inviting wider views on the issues and ideas raised.

The Courier's editorial director David Bourn said: "It will be fascinating to hear the views of people from across the city, and this panel will, I am sure, give us plenty of food for thought."

We will, of course, be reporting back from the event and inviting wider views on the issues and ideas raised.
