Officials at Ness Islands Railway are trying to track down a youngster who helped mark its 20th anniversary, 20 years ago.

They want to find Rory MacIver, who was photographed for an Inverness Courier article about the celebration in July 2003.

A spokesman for the miniature railway beside Whin Park, which operates in aid of Highland Hospice, said: "This year, we will be celebrating 40 years of Ness Islands Railway.

"As part of our celebrations, we would love to track down the little boy in this photo which was published in The Inverness Courier 20 years ago in 2003 for our 20th anniversary.

"Could this be you? If so, we'd love to hear from you!"
